Off topic question, but has anyone had any issues with the size of the sleeve for the water bladder? I'm running a 70oz Camelbak reservoir and it's a pain in the ass to get into the sleeve. Maybe I need to try a more narrow reservoir.

I use a Platypus BigZip 2L and it fits nicely. I do remember thinking that I am glad I don't have a wider bladder or it may not fit.

I agree the bladder sleeve is super narrow and is a pain the a.. To get even the 2l big zip in and out. Will probably make some type of modification to open it up a bit.

Can anyone tell me what the two straps that hang off the back of the bag which sit right behind the load lifters are for? Are they meant to hook to the load lifter buckles some how?

Hmm, I have a 4L MSR in my bladder sleeve, I put it in empty though and gravity fill, it never leaves the sleeve.

My bag doesn't have two straps on the back of it, the K2 frame does for a lid connection I believe but since I only have a Kifaru frame I'm just guessing on the K2 but my 2k has no straps where you are seeing them.

I used mine this weekend, unfortunately couldn't bloody it up. I found the zippers, especially the outer spotter zipper, to be extremely hard to zip, to the point I thought it may break. Is there anything I can use to "lube" it up?

Yes, they have a little bigger pocket, with water proof zipper, and it is wider, so it covers the top of the pack better. Much improved lid in my opinion. Fit is much better
