EDIT: not sure what happened to my title but I dont know how to edit or get it to stop?!? It was suppose to say "EXO K4 and SG pack test swap" not sure where all the extra junk came from....


I’ve been wanting to do some rucks in a k4 but don’t have anyone I know that has one. I’m trying to avoid buying expensive gear just to “try” it out…. Tired of wasting money

I’ve got both the x frame and the krux frame and the 5000 and 7900 bags. I would send any combo of them and/or a cash deposit in return for receiving an exo k4 (i need the small hipbelt) for me to look over, load up and do some rucking…..nothing crazy, I usually ruck with an 80lb cement bag wrapped and taped in contractor plastic bags so it’s clean and relatively compact….nothing that could potentially cause damage.

Ideally would be with a wkr or have one who will vouche for you. Also must be willing to discuss (on an actual phone call the arrangement.

Call Exo and let them know your quandary. You can try one (K4) out (keep it in like new condition) for, I believe 10 days, and then send it back if unsatisfied. I did this and kept by Ark frame, and they were 100% ok with it. We worked on fitting it properly and all. Good team to work with. Refunded the $$ within 5 business days.

Sweet! If i preferred the k4 to SG I’d like to ultimately sell my packs before I buy so I might hold off on that option but thanks for letting me know in the event I can’t make something else work! Appreciate it
