Exo 3500 Extra Cubes

I have had both First Gen and Second Gen Exo's, was lucky enough to haul some mature roosevelt quarters in my first gen.

Liked the packs enough to get the new one.


One thing that is apparent with the exo is that it doesnt leave much for anyone to add anything extra to it. Pods etc.

I decided to go ahead and try at making my own option and stole the idea for Stone Glaciers Access bag.

And here is what I came up with:

It mounts with the lateral compression straps woven through webbing on the back.

I plan to order some G hooks and make some straps to pull down to the joint where the compressions straps on the exo are sewn together from the webbing tabs I have sticking out of the seams.


Maybe some inspiration for someone.

I'm not an exo guy, but I would think a kifaru medium or large side pocket would fit just like that.

I use the hpg highlander the same way it fits perfect on most any pack. It's a slim profile too so it doesn't change center of gravity much.
