I ordered this evolution Ibex 6/21/24 and thought I would really like it. I’ve messed with it for 100 shots with a string/handle and less than 10 with my bow. It’s a nice release and does what it’s supposed to and advertised to. The problem is the geometry and loop attachment are so different from my other 6 releases that I would need to change both of my bow setups to use it. I already have a thumb, hinge and tension release for each bow. If I was starting with a new bow I would probably run with the Ibex.
I found one mark under the thumb peg and took a picture. I also stripped a sear screw head right away before I realized the Allen was binding on the lanyard attachment. Evolution quickly shipped me replacement screws and offered to reset the sears to factory settings free of charge. I declined because I was able to get the screw out with a small torx bit.
$265 shipped including transaction fees.
