Everyone’s 2024 season plans

Wyoming mule deer first week of September.
Whitetail / hogs @ the farm & deer lease in south Texas for three months (Oct-Jan)
Mule deer in Alberta, last week in October.
Maybe squeeze in Oklahoma pronghorn first part of October if the old lady allows it.

Had a tough year last year only got one shot at a muley in Canada, shot over its back, only one shot at my buck at the farm, backstrapped him. having an ok summer on hogs and axis.

Still trying to get my shot right, I have been seriously struggling with flinching on the shot with game in front of me. Still got time to get right!

We're blessed to have a little baby girl due in October, so I'm highly motivated to let the air out of a bull in September here in MT before the chaos starts.

Just made the decision to switch from the Satori I had learned on to a Bear Ausable since its light as a feather and shoots lights out, about as excited as I've ever been for hunting season.

Sounds like a great fall for you. Congrats on the little girl, there is absolutely nothing like it.

My brothers and I have 5 points for Iowa. Leaving October 25th and we’ll be back home sometime in December. Staying in Iowa until we kill and then headed to Illinois to hunt our leases until we kill. Then we’ll head south to Paducah area of Kentucky and hunt our farm there. Normal year except adding Iowa to the mix. Then back home to NC and duck hunting my place at the coast till end of January. Hoping for a great season.
