It was more of the same for me. I shoot a 65 pound bow 27.5" DL with total arrow weight around 435 grains. I've been shooting Sevr 1.5"'s since I killed my first elk with a bow in 2019. I only fired one arrow this year but it was 68 yards and landed right where I was aiming on a mature mule deer buck. He ran 100 yards and piled up. Found my arrow broken, it had backed out the entrance. Not much of a blood trail. That's pretty much how it goes most times.

I shot a cous deer at 75 yards with a 125gr. rage hypodermic. Center punched it and it ran 20 yards and fell on its face. Massive exit wound with a ton of blood on the ground.

Mule deer at 85 yards with a 125gr. Rage hypodermic. Double lunged it and he went 40 yards and was dead in 3 minutes. Same massive exit wound and tons of blood on the ground.

Got a javalina with a 125gr. IW single bevel. Penetration was great but I expected the wound channel to be bigger. Granted the ground stopped the arrow half way through the pig preventing a pass through but it didn't bleed out and die as quickly as I expected.

I was much more pleased with the wound/ blood of the rage mechanical however they were both good shots. I could see those shots not going as well if I cought some shoulder or large bone. The trauma from the Iron Will appeared to be less significant however I could definitely see that broadhead blowing through bone and doing more devastation on a forward shot especially on a larger animal.

Went back to standard Slick Tricks 100gr. They performed how they have for many dozens of times in the past no surprises no reason to change. Pretty light year as far as kills but killed a Bull Elk and Moose in Alberta.

Bull elk was 40yards slightly quartering to. Hit about 2" behind the Scapula and Humerus joint broke 3rd to last rib poking through the skin on the far side. Decent blood once bull made it to the timber/taller grass. However, with essentially no exit and shot through the front shoulder 1/2 up the body I didn't expect much.

Moose (40" bull) 26 ish yards broadside. Hit straight up the leg mid lungs. Missed all ribs and blew through like shooting through paper. Arrow skipped off through the woods somewhere. Bull ran about 10 yards closer and stood there to die. Good blood trail from point of the hit to spot of death.

Bowtech Prodigy 65ish pounds
26.5" draw
GoldTip Hunter Pros (340s) no inserts or added weight.
