Ever wonder what happens if you shoot 6 creed thru a 6.5 creed?

I shot a 65prc round through my 65 Sherman max one time on accident. My buddy has the case sitting on his shelf. 533 base diameter, shoulder blowed out wider than the base to 40°, got very lucky nothing happened. When bringing multiple rifles to the, now each one gets its designated ammo box, VS putting it all in one.

After you fire 25-06 in a 30-06 you just throw the case in with your 30-06 brass.

Can’t do that with a 16 gauge shell fired in a 12 gauge, though.

(Neither were me, but I was there when they happened).

My worst is leaving the ramrod in a muzzleloader. No harm, but embarrassing. Never saw the ramrod again.

My brother borrowed a M77 in 30-06 one time and went shooting with a friend of his who had an identical 308....308 in a 30-06 makes a weird case design. He walked into our house and handed me the case and $1000, I laughed and handed him the money back. We've still got that 30-06 and it still shoots just fine.

Years and years ago I was at the range and a lady was there alone. She asked me if I could help her as she couldn’t hit the paper with her Glock.

Turns out she had a 40 caliber Glock and 9mm ammo.

Well, nice to know it was not catastrophic.

My plan is 243 for 6mm, 22-250 for hot 5.56mm. Make it a bit harder to do this. But sounds like that 22-250 could still be loaded in the 243. Wonder if a 22 GT is straight enough to not chamber in a 243?

Some of this is because my kids will be shooting my rifles.

22gt will be close to fit in a 243. Enough bolt force I'm sure it'd go. The gt at full insertion into chamber would be bout 002 larger than saami 243 chamber at the gt shoulder position. All depends on chamber and sized brass dimensions.

I avoid having different calibers with the same bolt face and/or calibers that can chamber in a different caliber chamber. For example no 300 BO for me since I have 223.

Yikes, seems to be more common than I'd hope.

When my sons were younger I stupidly bought them identical rifles but one in 243 WSSM and one in 223 WSSM. Laid them out on the bed one morning to pack them up in the gun case and realized the ammo was almost identical and so we're the rifles. Got rid of one of them ASAP..

I wonder if a 22-250 would slide fare enough forward to only get a light strike?

Questions, I need a primed 22-250 case now.
