There are a lot of camera's on water here in NV. I think they all go away after Aug 1. One place had 18 different camera's. People cut the ranchers pipe then set up a camera. Some cameras are set up for watching small game also. Last weekend found a big healthy rattle snake getting a drink from a sheep guzzler. Had three cameras on it.

I had the SD card stolen out of one on private property in NM. Didn't really understand it, but glad he left the camera I guess.

I have found a few. I leave them alone moslty. However, one was all twisted and sideways from the animals messing with it, So I straightened in up and tye wrapped it all nice and tight and then gave him a thumbs up and a smile holding the tye wraps for a photo.

I’ve found a couple I just waved and went on.. I just recently had one stolen after it was up for only 4days, I went back up to check it before I headed back to the flatland and it was gone.. it’s the second one I’ve had stolen in this general area.. I hate that other hunters steal/thieve but atleast he knows I’ll be back come sept 1st

One time I left my business card and cell phone number, with a note saying that I was putting a cam up too and to call to potentially coordinate hunts, had a good call with the guy, exchanged pictures, made sure we weren’t hunting the same time, overall a very good interaction. Another time someone stole my sd card on a cam that had been out all winter, which made me quite angry.

I need to remember a note pad and pen next time I check one of mine, cause it's right next to one and I really want to get in touch with the owner to do exactly this.

I just smile and wave. I usually have the desire to check cards, but never do. I wouldn't mind if someone checked mine, but I can't assume that whoever owns whatever cam I find would be fine with me checking. Plus I would be horrified if I accidentally wiped their card

I found one right after I had taken a piss in front of it. Poor guy.

This was from a forum I am a part of for NC hunters. One of our longtime posters had someone trespassing on his property. He later found out it was a lady who was always going for her morning run. Needless to say, this surprised the hell out of him!

I walk by them all the time. I avoid getting my pic taken if I can. That is all.

I found one yesterday looking for water. I hit the elk stench and then followed it to a seep that went twenty yards and then back underground. There was a home made tree stand probably older than me on a fallen tree. I took my phone out and entered my number, and then held it up a foot or so in front of the camera and swiped my hand in between the two. My hope is to figure out what their hunting plans are so we don't step on each other's toes. Who thinks they would call if that were their camera?
