Equine First Aid Kit

What are the essentials for an equine first aid kit? Putting one together for my current mule and the one I will soon get when I find it.

I dont take a ton when out on the trail. Dromosidine, stapler, nonadhetent pads, vet wrap, quick clot, betadine

Similar to bmart. I also take some nitrofurazone ointment and a roll of duct tape. Had to duct tape some pads on my horse's hindquarter one year. Duct tape worked great.

I would probably bring banamine too and know how to use it properly if injecting

I guess I have been lucky. Other than minor scrapes I haven't had an injury in 50 years.

Almost forgot, some bute as well if you can get it.

minimum is duct tape, vet wrap, banamine, betadine for camp. on trail i just carry vet wrap and a few feet of duct tape on a piece of cardboard.
