I have the playbook AND I’ve been using the Elknut app since it came out. Get the app. Can use it anywhere you have your phone with you. Contains elk sounds made by both Paul and live elk (still don’t know how he trained those elk to make all those sounds!)
Also able to record your own efforts and compare to the real deal.
Also, lots of great tips as well as videos.

all of the above with the elknut app and you've completely geeked out on elk sounds. There is enough elk calling info from Paul and then hopefully you gain some habitat info from the books and you'll be good to go.

Pair that with some failure on the mtn chasing elk and you'll be up to speed quick!
