Elk with character

I shot this interesting looking 4x7 Roosevelt yesterday. Wanted to see if anyone else has gotten an elk with character.

Yea seen those paddles before - step dad has a big 6 x 6 (if you wanna go that route) from NM with those paddles on both sides.... they look awesome!

Does it also have a some white patches on the hide? Looks like it in your photos.

It had quite a few white spots on its hide. He had a huge abscess on his right side too.

Looks like his mom might have been hooking up with a caribou. I dig the unique antlers. Stellar beard as well, lesser men shiver when you enter the woods

There is a decent number of bulls running around with broken pedicles. They must break them fighting, which is crazy.
