Dust Rider those earrings look really nice! I can see why she loves them. Neat to make something out of a critter you kill. Helps add to the cycle. No two elk ivories are the same either so there are not another pair out there just like those.

My son kulled
His bull at 12 years old. I wanted to find something to do with them that he would be interested in and last a long time. Do I had these knives made. Handles are from a buck I killed with his ivories in them.View attachment 266133

That is a great idea. I had an old knife maker make a carver and fork for me using some elk horns I had. He made something way too big for me to use. He also did not have any thing in the butt. I will take pics and post to this. His name was Anderson up in the La Garita country. I think he is dead now.
