So I posted earlier and had a failed archery attempt. I’m thinking of going back with my buddy to have him try to tag one of the bulls that live in the area. Would the bull I arrowed still be in the area? What are the chances they come back? I know elk are in the general area but did I blow up that particular ridge when I didn’t “seal the deal”?

I agree , possibly in same general area in my experience . However there are a few LARGE factors . First is general is a loos term, some elk will travel 10 to 15 miles . But still in same general area yes . And the othe other unknowns , like hunting pressure in the area , weather , the rut and others . I guess what Im saying is , yes there is a possibility , in X amount of cases they will be in same general area . But what is X percent . ?????????
