Elk hunting options with 11 yr old son?

I have been taking my son archery hunting since he was 5. I put the time spent with him above getting animals..obviously. 2019 quality elk tag drawn and he wanted to go. We hunted hard that year stayed n our wall tent. The weather got bad n he was ready to take a break . Filled the tag when he was at home. Great memories. Note. Full size Hershey chocolate bars are a great pick me up. I always have a few n our packs.
