On any hunt /camp where I might encounter critters. Big or small, I will hang my grub. I always carry 2 50' lengths of paracord, I find a rock, wrap about a foot of cord around the smallish but fist sized rock and tie off. Then lay out paracord in long loops under tree, hold one end and lob rock over a limb about 15-20 feet up and 10' or so out. (NOTE) in dark don't stand under tree as the Rocks hurt!
