Elk hunt

Hello! I'm new to this forum and I'm planning a Idaho elk hunt next year. Is the Beaverhead area a promising area to hunt, if so, any specific area(s) that holds a lot of elk? Thank you in advance for the replies.

I'll expand on the response above. Your post is viewable by anyone searching for that area on the www. If someone were to reply with favorable information, that information would go to 1000s of potential hunters potentially resulting in that area being overrun.

Thank you for the advice, I'll start researching. I was assuming because of the size of Beaverhead, someone might say yes, it's a good area. Thank you again.

You're welcome and its not that simple. Simply saying "yes" means that many more pickups at the trail head just because they heard "it was good". Check out the forum rules on mentioning unit numbers, etc... That will help you form your questions as well. Take care!
