Camp shoes for me. I’m not awake at camp long enough to ever wear them. Walk sock foot to do your business at night if nature calls. If there’s snow on the ground, my boots are going on for that task anyway.

Two things I added for this year that I'm on the fence about carrying is a Montana cow decoy and an REI Flexlite Air chair. The chair was a Fathers day gift from my daughter, I probably would never spend 100 bucks for a lawn chair. The decoy will depend on how far we have to pack in on whether it makes the trip. The chair is comfy and might be worth the pound.
I carry a crazy creek chair as my "luxury" item. It's awfully nice to have a little back support at camp and while glassing.

Read all previous posts would be my “one thing”. Seems like there is a lot of rehashing the same stuff over and over and over. Nothing has changed since the last post on the last thread.

I ditched the stakes for my Montana decoy. I have a length of paracord tied to the head and tail and hang it from a branch. I know I know, what if there isn't a branch? Haven't had that issue yet so don't know.

A solar shower....it seems like a great idea from home but it's the last thing you want to at night after hunting all day
