elk camp recipes

I've been making lots of stews, soups, and chili at home in preparation for elk camp. I'll eat some of it and freeze all the leftovers. I'll have one defrosted for the day and when I get back to camp in the evenings all I have to do is warm it up on the coleman stove. Hobo(tin foil) dinners are an awesome option too if you have all the ingredients.

Spam, Spam, Spam with a side of Spam! Kidding..... I'm not Hawaiian....

We do not spend a lot of time cooking. I'm big on fresh food....and we sometimes have the time to cook chicken thighs and stuff like that...but rare.

Usually its one pot goulash;

We will add a can of green beans or mixed veggies to just about anything /grin

Chili with a can of boiled potatoes added

Those uncle bens packaged rices [differnt flavors] with those foil meat packs of chicken and veggies

The packaged pasta dishes with Brats or sausages and a can of veggies...that type of stuff
