Elk calves hitting the ground in N. Idaho

Saw my first calf of the season today.

I saw my first whitetail fawn last weekend. Love seeing the newborn of the year!

Was seeing some very pregnant looking does last night after I saw that calf

I started seeing calves in the beginning of May. I drive through an area of California every few weeks and see Tule and Roosevelt elk. Pretty cool to see the entire life cycle of elk all year round.
