Elk at 1 yard Video!

This was probably one of the cooler experience I have had out while hunting, I was working in on a herd of elk when I had this curious yearling come back and check me out. It actually sniffed my arm!

Had that same thing happen about five years ago. After spooking the calf twice so we might get a shot at any elk that might come in it just kept wondering into the calls. Finally we shut up after a spike came in and they wondered off together. Very cool experience that I have not been able to be a part of again. Bob.

I had that with a yearling doe once, she heard me make noise and I think momma had been taken out by predators....she desperately wanted me to be what she was looking for, I finally had to scare her off by trying to pet her
