any ideas on what to do with elk antlers. Im not paying 1800 to mount a elk (Ive got one, dont need more). I dont care for euro mounts. So, what else have yall done, some kind of decoration, just cut them off and lay them in the gravel in the front of the house, anything else?

I made this table with whitetail antlers then filled everything in between with more sheds. I’m sure you could do something similar.

Scott - antler buyers are paying ~$18/lb. ;)

You’re welcome to drop them off at my place on your way home. You’ve been here before.

I dont think we have any antler buyers around here, or at least never heard of any. If I decide to do that I will drop em off on the way home.

Antler plaque, dog chews, sell them, cut them off and use as some kind of decoration. Cut them off and have a good carver or engraver do a scene on them. Hang them in the garage. This is why I don’t care to shoot big bulls. Small bulls and cows are just fine for me. 🤣

I hear ya....I almost didn't pack my antlers out.

If it's a really good bull...then thats different....but even then, I have a pile of those and they are just getting nibbled on by squirrels.

I got 6 or 7 bulls in the rafter in the garage...one mid 200s...a upper 200...a coulple 315s and 2 in the 325-330 range. Thinking about a chandelier with the 4 bigger ones and a table or lamps with the other two.

Actually Chandelier is pretty much settled just trying to figure out exactly how I want it. Tradition circle or spoked type ones look cheap to me and un original.
