Element optics nexus??

I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has any field experience with an element optics nexus? It has an appealing feature set for me. It looks like they recently came out with a gen 2 version and cameraland has the gen 1 currently discounted. For the discounted price it puts it comparable with a shv or rs1.2 but with a little more magnification. From what I can find it’s made in Japan. Just wanted to see if anyone has any first hand durability experience with it.

I did find this video, but would put more weight on a form evaluation.

I love my Nexus. It was a great purchase for my Airgun and/or firearm. Even if there’s a new model who knows the tier it’ll be. I saw at RMAC they had a theos? But I haven’t seen a date of release.

I think the theos has been out for a couple years now. It’s geared as a top tier target scope. I’m definitely more interested in the nexus as it seems to fit into a hybrid hunting scope.
