I wonder what the low end threshold for expansion is on these? if you were to use them in a 308 could you get reliable expansion at 1500 FPS? Certainly would extend the useable range with great in addition.

I would certainly think so. I haven't ever noticed eldms expanding not as expected down to 1400ish. Maybe these are totally different, but with such a thin jacket I think they would be fine. At 2400 impact velocity with my 300WM they were still shedding the entire jacket if I could catch them on the offside hide.

they have more vacant space inside which would lead me to believe they would deform and fragment at much lower velocity windows. But I’ve never shot anything with them either so it’s only a guess

They fragment rapidly- it’s a 174gr varmint bullet. They will kill emphatically, however meat loss if you hit bone can be/will be extreme.

Form how do you think they would do from a .308 at +/- 2900fps MV?

I have some loads worked up using SIG Fury hybrid brass with 175TMKs in that same velocity range.
