El vs SF

I know there are posts discussing this and I’ve read them, along with any others I could find. I have a little wrinkle to the discussion that I’m wondering if it would change anyone’s choice.

If you could get the Zeiss SF ($999 discount) for the same price as a set of EL’s, $1999, would that change your choice.

I’m looking to get a new set of binos next month and this discount now has me waffling.

For hunting I'd say Swarovski are more durable and have an unbeatable warranty. I own both an SF 8x42 and EL 8.5x42 and they are both excellent. Can't go wrong either way. SF is only slightly brighter by a hair and a little wider view, but I prefer Swarovski color contrast a little more. I also find Swarovski have better eye relief and easier view.
