Effords vs Arluk Fly in hunt??

Has anyone done both the Effords and Arluk FLY IN moose hunt in Newfoundland?

I know there are some bad reviews on the Effords drive in hunts but the fly in seem to be pretty good.

Prices on the basic fly in "lodge" hunt with both are a little more expensive with Arluk but both of them are within $500 of each other on their tent "trophy" hunt.

I plan to call and talk to both, but looking for any real-world experience, especially if someone has done both.

Wherever you choose take the trophy camp. It will get you the most experienced guides and the best areas

Haven’t done both but did hunt with Effords on a flyin hunt. Going back in 2027. Great experience.

My cousin guides for Arluk and his clients seem to get decent moose every fall. For a young guy, he’s definitely not afraid to put in the work to make the client happy.

Having grown up in Newfoundland, some of the Arluk camps are from around my area, so I may be a little bias, but I know that area holds a ton of moose
