eddie bauer SUCKS!

Just wanted to give these folks a shout out. My wife and I don't spend much on each other at Christmas choosing to give to other family members instead. This year our only gift to each other was to be down jackets (on sale) from eddie bauer. We ordered in November, surely that would be enough time to get here by Christmas. NOPE, didn't make it despite at least 10 phone calls where CS lied to us each and every time. "You will have it by the end of the week, we promise" was repeated 3 different weeks. Our original order was "lost in shipment" they said, but USPS said they were still waiting on the shipper to give them the package three weeks after the waybill was created. That order was cancelled and a new order placed. This new order was to include FREE (repeated numerous times by CS) THREE DAY shipping. This was on 12-14-2020. Do you think we have our jackets here on Christmas Eve? Let me give you a hint.

I have probably had 20 individual orders from them in the last two years. Everything has arrived within 5-10 days. I think your experience was a rare exception.

i just had an item show up yesterday. was shipped USPS Nov.29 its not the stores. the postal service is way backed up. i bet your stuff will show. its been a rough year for everything. you needed to vent. been there. good luck with your order!

I had something similar happen with a different company with my main gift for my wife. First order got screwed up (created shipping label, package never got picked up), then they were out of stock in the US so the package isn't arriving until 12/30.

We also got a Halloween card yesterday, mailed within the state on 10/25. US shippers are way overburdened by the impacts of COVID.

Sometimes we think things suck for us in a 1st world country when we have to deal with minor things like not getting packages, but in reality we have it good here compared to other parts of the world.

Last week I shipped a small box by USPS from FL to SC and the postmaster said it would probably take 15+ days to get there.

Ive made 4-5 EB orders this holiday season. Zero trouble. Good products for the money, good communication, reasonable shipping times, given the circumstances. I’m a fan.

I bought two items off eBay on 12/11 - still ain’t here. Shipped two packages East on 12/17 , one made it in three days, the other...still in transit. All shipped priority. Bought a book from a guy in Alaska - that arrived also in three days.

Shipping times and tracking are trash for nearly everyone right now. Luck of the draw at this point. I just opened up EB pullover. Wouldnt wear it in the brush but for just chilling around the fire I think itll be pretty nice.

As for USPS, I have a barrel for a rifle that was shipped to me on the 11th, according to the tracking it’s been “in transit” at the Denver shipping center for a week now.
