I am changing to a heavier setup due to the larger flies I am using locally for smallmouth and some coastal fishing this summer. This rod is capable of throwing big wind resistant and heavy flies but I want to punch through the wind further off a boat deck for saltwater.

Rod is a 6wt. Echo StreamerX. This was designed specifically for streamer fishing by Kelly Galloup. It has the finesse of a lighter rod, the fast power action of a heavier rod, and the handiness to fish any fly in any water. I've used it catching everything from creek chubs to gar, freshwater drum, and carp. While being labeled a 6wt this fishes more like a 7wt and is very versatile. Comes with a rod soft roll. No issues other than the cork is a little discolored from handling.

Reel is an Orvis Hydros III. Solid sealed system. Punches way above its price point. Loaded with 30# backing and an Airflo float tapered line. This is a high end line that shoots well especially double hauling. Reel comes with neoprene case.

As a bonus I am throwing in a Fishpond water bottle holder. Has snap webbing on the back to fit on any belt or bag. This is the nice Thunderhead line version. Also including a yellow streamer box from Kingfisher. It is the same box as a Clif box just branded different. Manual and tool included with reel.

This is a great all around setup for small trout to larger still and fresh water as well as smaller salt applications. Ready to fish! $600 shipped priority with insurance.

I may have an extra rod tube to throw in if interested.

Thanks!
