Eberlestock X2 vs Nomad

Philip no one could really answer this for you as no one has used the Nomad other then Aron and maybe a few others who where testing it out during last season. As a matter of fact youll probably know that answer before any of us =-)

I have an X2 with a nomad on the way. Also used a blue widow and just one pack. The difference will be night and day with any sort of weight. Eberlestocks are well built but hurt my shoulders with much over 30 pounds.

There's no comparison between the two. I have been a Big fan of the X2 pack. it is a day pack to carry lighter loads. The nomad with the duplex or bikini frame is a serious load hauling pack. The X2 can haul 50+ pounds without breaking, but it is not very comfortable with those weights.

SHTF, the frame will be the same:)

Thats true but I took it as he wanted to know in relations to the bag itself. If your already using a Bikini or Duplex then most will know the answer to that question based on how it will carry and such but as far as the bag and functionality is the way I took what he was asking. Could just be the way I read it =-)

X2, I hated both my X2 and BW. Neither compare to the Kifaru suspension in comfort IMO.
