Easy Razco Chest Holster modification!

I have the gen 1 model holster for my bino harness and it will not work with just the uncliped harness like the gen 2 will. I needed a way to carry just my handgun for packout trips and general hiking and fishing. All you need is a 6-8ft section of webbing (6' NRS strap is perfect for me) and one small cut in the backer plate and it'll work and fit great along with having a usable cam strap. Just swap the male buckles off your bino harness and feed them onto your new webbing.

Took your idea and used a cheap-o Amazon 1” webbing, buckle and tri-glide kit to make straps for my Gen.1 holster. I don’t absolutely love it, but it’s alright. I have a Kenai holster for my G20 and it’s far more comfortable. Another option for $15 instead of almost $90 so, why not?

Good deal! It's not as good as a kenai but this way I didn't need to get both. Easy enough to throw the extra webbing in the pack if you ever want to wear it without the binos too.
