The truth is both companies have some fantastic offerings.
ACC’s are the best hunting weight shaft on the market, bar none.
Hexx and datorch are solid with brass up front .
Never had any luck with axis, way to much nock tuning and culls. Now they have “match grade” and charge you more for them to actually do the correct job.
FMJ, not my favorite. 4mm the outserts suck.... 5mm with hits and footers are serviceable. 6mm fragile and bend easy., Which is really my knock on all of them .
BEA Spartan, great consistency and really nice components. Only downside is the price. They are high and the weights are rip off prices . The SS nock collars and inserts are as nice as you will find on anything. This is a really good shaft for the set it and forget crew or if you don’t build your own.
BEA Rampages. I really like these with hits and footers. Sturdy and consistent. The nock are the weak point, x nock fit but can get a little loose. The R nocks seem the best choice. I may epoxy GT nock bushing in them and use g nocks .
