Eastern Washington Archery

Hunted SE Washington for 5-10 years. There's good opportunity and not really much pressure. A lot of hilly farm ground with broken draws and woodlots. I've had decent success getting permission from farmers to pieces I wanted to hunt. I've spent dozens of hours scouting and glassing to really narrow my spots down.

What are you talking about? yeah maybe if you have private property permission like you mentioned. I killed my first deer there when I was 10 and have hunted there almost every year since then. it's an absolute zoo. I've killed a few deer up there but I am definitely lucky to kill one every other year.

I'm talking about my experience hunting 5-15 days a year during archery season in multiple units in SE Washington for the past 5 years in a row. I've built a catalog of 4-5 feel free to hunt properties I've extensively scouted that I feel confident I could put myself in a spot to get a shot on a buck and it would be very unlikely there would be anyone else coming to hunt there. Most other hunters I see don't want to get out of a truck or only hunt 1-2 hours in the morning and 1-2 hours in the afternoon.

Last year I hunted exclusively feel free to hunt properties and didn't have another person hunting the same properties as me when I was there. I guess you just need to find better spots to hunt cause they are out there.
