I’m in Billings and looking for any recommendations on a shop that handles NFA transfers for a reasonable cost? Locally, I’m seeing $100-150 and hoping for less.

I don’t mind traveling a bit if needed.

Nice guys but they’re Deff not $50 or even sub $100 from what I’ve heard. You can call and ask.

If you have time check out the silencer shop dealer locater. It will show all of the dealers in the area with their kiosk at least. One called on target outdoors popped up for laurel. I didnt see murdochs on there, but they do only charge 50 bucks if they do it, but i think only some of their stores are set up. The one in Helena wont do a suppressor but Butte will.

His business is Four O Six gunsmithing but it sounds like he really isn't any cheaper that what you have in Billings. I was thinking he was a little cheaper than he is

Spoke with a couple of others (Bilings Tactical and MT Accuracy) and they are right at $100 for the transfer.

Was hoping for cheaper, but I’d probably spend $50 in gas going to Bozeman. Oh well, still a solid deal on the group buy!
