East or West off the Dalton

Doing a DIY rifle Caribou hunt off the Dalton hwy 2026. Any advice if heading east or west is better?

You do realize that Caribou are highly unpredictable and generally wander all over the place, right ? You will find them where you find them, and if you wait 5 minutes they will be somewhere else. Good luck.

Take a raft. 50 50 chance you will need it. I did .

You will need a raft if you are wanting to hunt them to the east and get to the five mile, Like all have said though caribou are going to be where caribou want to be. Good luck and enjoy your trip
