With a sheep tag drawn for this fall I’ve started looking into good quality taxidermists in the State/Region.

This topic has been done before but it seems in the past couple years some of the big names have retired, closed up shop, been indicted, etc. so let’s hear some recent recommendations that are still in the biz. Bonus points for pictures.

RJ from Hunter's Choice Taxidermy in Nampa has done a number of once in a lifetime animals for myself and my friends and they all came out excellent.

was starting to think about the same thing. not a lot of sheep experience on this side of the state and I want it to be above average.

ben fahnholz carmen idaho....life like taxidermy

He is a master at his craft. He is one of the top feline guys in the world. If you can do a cat well, sheep are easy.

I’ve used Jeff at intermountain taxidermy in Twin Falls for a deer and antelope. He has been great. Plan to use him for a sheep this fall if I’m so lucky. He did a sheep for our local archery shop owner and it turned out awesome.
