What are you looking for when e-scouting for elk? I’ve had onX for a few years now but I usually just use it to see public/private boundaries and I want to be able to utilize it more.

For me in my areas ymmv

First and foremost glassing locations and access to them.... That assumes your within 4 miles of elk, depending on the view.

Second is north/ North East facing
timbered benches, saddles and pinch points that lead to green pockets of protected feed and standing water within a mile or so.

Third is looking for good elk country that's tricky to get to or hard to see. That doesn't mean deep, just "tricky"

I'm also, this may actually be first, e scouting to eliminate country. Too steep, too easy to access, too dry, too easy to see from roads, too rocky, etc.

NW/N/NE facing timber for bedding.
Look for food and water near bedding.
Like @wapitibob said…. Roads. Using the roadless feature helps which shows you areas at least one mile away from any roads.
Turn on the slope angle/color feature on OnX to help differentiate between slopes you can walk and ones you can’t. The contour lines don’t always tell the truth!
Look for areas that back up to private and far away from public access.
