A true icon at everything he did. His impact on bow hunting will be felt for long long time. Sad day indeed

Damn!

The early Dwight and Larry videos is why I got into hunting with a stick bow.

Damn damn damn. Ryan nailed it. I was totally in awe of him and his adventures.....still have a Dwight Schuh pack. He lived in Klamath Falls, Oregon for awhile and that's where I was born and raised. He was friends with one of my dad's friends and I remember them talking about the great hunting around Hart and Steens Mountains. Man, I'm sorry to hear he passed. My hunting partners still use to this day the same hand signals that he and Larry Jones used.

I think I have watched every VHS he ever made. Remember having to rent them from the local archery shop. Have his books and have read a lot of his articles over the years. Truly an inspiration to me.

The first real hunting book I read was his Hunting open country mule deer book. I really enjoyed his books and his approach to hunting. A true inspiration for sure.
