I only have a couple of nights in mine, but like it. Wish I would have dropped the coin for dyneema.

It’s got a decent footprint size but is so easy to setup, the extra vestibule and interior space from the double pole design is so nice!

Coming from a lighter setup, it’s hard using something heavier. The no stretch fabric is nice. Sometimes I wish I sprang for the pro. But it’s nice have some protection from condensation.

Gave the tent a trial run this weekend on scouting trip.
-Spacious nest for 1 (6’1, 250), wasn’t rubbing ends or side
-good amount of room in double vestibules

Wasn’t sure my fatass would fit, n couldn’t justify spending for dyneema. Now, that I know I fit, wishing I would’ve.

I’ve used the 1p pro for 4 nights now during my elk hunt, I was worried about the condensation in the single wall but it hasn’t been bad. I pitched one night in beautiful green grass next to a creek and of course had nice condensation build up but it wasn’t dripping or anything. I think the double vents help.

Got 5 nights in mine last week. Only change I see making is upgrading the stakes. Loving it

Best tent I’ve ever used for the size and weight. I have probably 40 days over the last few seasons in mine.

This past week I did get stuck in some pretty bad weather and while it held up well, it felt like it started to retain some of the water. Does anyone have a good waterproofing solution?

I bought one this summer for scouting. You guys pretty much said it all, I like the room for a light 1 man. I didn't know if I'd use it enough to justify the expense of the DCF.

I have not had mine in cold or bad weather yet. Anyone have any stories of one not holding up? I have a Kuiu Storm Star I bought for Kodiak for real bad weather, but it's heavy.

I just bought one as well. If you don’t mind me asking, why are you selling it? What about it did you like/not like?

One trip so far in my 2p XMid Pro - me and the dog, up in Ontario. High marks for sure. Upgraded the stakes to AT Stakes, so that's less than one ounce...really high quality kit. With the Carbon Fiber poles and the stakes it is under 28 oz.

Been thinking about a Durston for a while.. is the 2p worth the weight penalty (for 1 person), or is the 1p plenty big?

And if the 1p is big enough, what’s it do better than the SG skyair ult?

16" wider and 7 oz heavier. Gigantic interior space. For one person and no dog, it's seriously overkill. It's what I have, and I'm not compelled to buy the 1P. If I spent more days out and hiked further, 1P would be in the pack.

I debated that and ended up with the 1p. I was going for light weight, I have several bigger shelters if I need to go that route. I wanted something with a built-in bug nest for scouting and other earlier trips.

The Xmid 1P is plenty big enough for me, even at 6’1 & 250#. I’m pleased with the amount of space and love the double vestibules and doors.

I have no experience with the SG Skyair
