Just curious if there’s a consensus around who makes the most durable lightweight softshell style pant. I prefer softshells over my go to Fjallraven kebs for later in the season when it dips into the low teens. However, on a weekend of sheep hunting I put two holes in my Kuiu Axis hybrids just getting caught on small twigs while moving upslope. These are $400 pants and can barely hold up to a weekend of sheep hunting. My friend has a pair of Stone Glacier’s and has had zero issues with his over many (100+) miles in the same terrain. I’m leaning that way as a result but curious what you guys think.

Honestly, I don’t wear anything other than wrangler ATG’s. Layers under them when cold. They’re functional, cheap and I’ve used them in Az mesquite/catclaw with little issues in durability.
