Duckworth powder hoody

They hit soooo hard. Maybe one of my All Time favorite pieces. I have 3.

They are SPENDY. They are "light". They are not terribly durable.

The sizing game has pissed me off across the entire industry. I have two in XL. Both fit different. I have an L in oatmeal. It's REALLY tight (forearms)

I would say it's a TON warmer than a cotton hoody. Like a LOT.

I say go for it.

Run a tape around your chest and I can try and help you, or:

I tape 49-51 inches around. I say XL
I measure around 43 inches around the chest. If I put on a baselayer I think I should be okay with a large if they are more of a loose fit.

43? Kind of a Welp, Eh? Fuggin w U. Large pretty confident. As far as layering OVER. Still feel an L will fit over most standard base layers. Not a fault of Duckworth, but be aware....

Wool over Wool is a pain in the ass. Simply getting it on. It's grippy and catchy. If I am gonna run a Powder Hoody, it's over a poly layer. To slide on slicker.

Big fan of the FL Merino hoodies too. The Kiln. A Kiln and Powder would be like a 20F system with moderate Spot and Stalk. It would be a lot. And I run way colder than most. Just saying it's gonna be a solo jiu jujitsu match with yourself getting both on and off.

But overall, really think a Powder is worth a try
