Has anyone had any experience with this ammo in their 308 Winchester? It is on sale @ $1.00 per so the price is right. Has a 175 nose ring SMK, temp insensitive powder, Russian primers, and Tubbs brass. Looks like the components should be good and Mr. Tubb doesn't usually offer junk for sale.

Hope to hear if anyone has used these on game and what they thought...also, if the bullets only may be available for loading?

Saw this video not sure if it gives you any info. Looks like the expansion took place well into the block vs earlier however it was at distance also (not sure of the velocity).

Mi have used NR 175gr SMK’s. They work, and the NR helps with moderate velocity impacts to fragment the bullet when it yaws. Wounds can be very large.

Also I’m curious of the depth of the nose ring. Is it stayed on the box? I believe 25 thou is for increased BC but 50 thou is recommend for hunting per Mr. Tubbs.
