He was somewhere around 7/8 to full curl. I watched him for almost 2 hours trying to convince myself that he was definitely a FC but couldn't do it. Then out of now where a FC + popped up and I took him. What a great hunt that DCUA is. I sure hope to draw the Tok or DCUA again before my mountain hunting days are over. I'm pushing 50 and quickly realizing that my time in the mountains is limited. I keep telling myself, who knows, maybe I'll be able to push another 20 years out of this body. For now I'll just keep working hard and keep my fingers crossed.

I have hunted this tag 4 different times....only once did I personally have the tag. Have seen legal rams on every trip and always hiked or wheelered in and never flew in. Great area to hunt for certain!!! Alaskan89s story is simply awesome and enjoyed the re-read of it. You will have a great hunt and if the weather co-operates and your feet allow you to do the hiking you need to you should find a ram without too much trouble.
