Hello all, just curious if anyone has tried something like the Indoor dry fire training system? Seems like an interesting idea and a good way to practice. Thank you for any input in advance. Jason

I dont wanna spring $129 for a poster, and I think my wife would get fairly annoyed with it. I just poke my rifle barrel out the window when she’s not home, and dry fire at passers-by who are at least 100 yards away. I can’t see how this would be a problem.

I hope you're not saying you dry fire practice on people?

The DFAT setup from DST precision works well. I should use it much more than I do.

I haven’t used that system. I have the d.f.a.t. setup and have found it useful. It allows me to work on building positions and technique at home.

I’m just kidding….I don’t actually dry fire at people. Rude. Still working on developing a sarcasm emoji. I live in town and I’m pretty sure that I’d very quickly get a visit from the local swat team.

Speaking of swat team, I did have the swat team show up in front of my house one morning about 2 AM. I watched out my bedroom window, as a bunch of guys in full battle rattle emerged from the back of a big diesel powered paddie-wagon looking thing. They were about 30 feet from my window , and I heard it very clearly when they all simultaneously cocked their M4’s. They were there because some lady a couple of houses down had threatened her daughter with a gun. I did not know this at the time, so I was kind of anxious. After about 20 minutes on the bull horn, ordering her to come out of the house, they broke a window, popped a couple flash bangs, and went in. No shots fired fortunately.

I looked at that but they don’t made a scope ring for 44mm

Maybe look a little closer on specs of a particular scope. I use one on a maven RS1.2 which has a 44mm objective. Memory is a little fuzzy but i may have had to use a thread pitch that wasn't exact but close enough to work, you just have to be careful not to force anything when threading it on.
