My mother in law gave me a ton of knives to sharpen for her. A few of them are good knives that she didn't even know she had. I want to polish the handles too. Not too sure if this will handle the pressure of me pushing into it. Some handles will need a lot of work. What are you looking to do with it?
Yeah I did consider that a normal table vise may work the same way. I'll just add some rubber feet on the one I have so I don't scratch my dremel.Might add looking for a PanaVise as well as the Dremel. You might find one of those easier since they've been around forever. They come in all sorts of sizes and jaws.
A PanaVice doesn't have to be a normal vise, they make many similar to that Dremel. I have several for electronic circuit board work and other things. I actually have a Bitzenburger fletching jig mounted to one of their larger universal swivel bases. Just thought it might add to the options someone out there might have sitting around.Yeah I did consider that a normal table vise may work the same way
