Drawing odds in CO???

Might be able to make it to colorado for my first western hunt in Sept. I think an elk may be too much for me to do solo was wondering if you can draw a mule deer archery tag with no points. Not looking to go trophy hunting and hunt would be I'm sept.

Have you visited the Colorado web site and looked up the deer hunting statistics? You can look up the draw odds. Should be able to find units that you can draw with 0 points.

Should be a few 0 point units to choose from for archery.

CPW website is your best bet for draw stats. Toprut tells you the bear minimum points you need to draw(ie 0 points), but CPW gives you an actual percentage to base your application off of(ie 10/34 applicants draw at 0 points).

Yes a few have a chance with 0 points but a sure thing with 1.
