In the rkt cam is it possible to shorten draw length without changing modules? I'm on the 28.5" module and it feels about 3/16-1/4" long. 28 is too short and I have to bend my head into the peep so I want to stay with the 28.5" module.

Yes, you can just put some twists in the string and it will shorten the draw length. When twisting the string you'll need to twist both the top and bottom loops to keep the peep balanced. I think you need to put more in the bottom as that portion of the string is longer than the top.

It shouldn't but once you have the DL where you want it you can re tune with yokes and cables. Twisting and untwisting cables will change the DL a tiny amount but once you have it set with the string you shouldn't notice.

No didnt think to do that. I can see that it has about another 1/4" adjustment in it though so I'll try it in daylight.

You can use Coop's method but it is hard to do string adjustments by yourself. You need someone to partially draw the string and someone to put the screwdriver in place.

If you are engaging the release trigger with the "tip" segment of your index finger, I would adjust the release. If you have thoughtfully adjusted your release so that you are properly engaging the trigger (middle segment of your finger, which it sounds like you have not), I would twist the string.
