Good afternoon,
I’ve been shooting for a little over a year. I recently purchased a Bowtech Solution about a week or so ago. I’d like to get some input on my form as well as my draw length. I feel like I’m between 26 and 27 inches of draw. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
This is at 26.5 inches of draw.

I know you don’t want to hear it but you’re leavening back at 26.5”. 27” is way too long. Tuck your shirt in and stand against a door frame or something so we can see straight up and down. Take a picture at 26” as well. Your elbow is hyper extended as well.

Thanks I’ll try to get some pictures of me at 26 here in a little.

Id do 26, but as UCSdryder said, that elbow is a problem. You gotta get that cleaned up.

You can see your upper half coming in line from 27 to 26.5. 26 might be the final answer.

Check out Dudleys School Of Nock Season 1 Week 10.

Here are two new pictures. My elbow is not hyperextended in these pictures.

Elbow looks better. See how much you’re still leaning back. Try to lean forward a little and see if you can get upright

My head and shoulders correct?
your head should be centered between your legs. I don’t think it’s a draw length issue at 26”. I think it’s a comfort thing from having too long a draw length.

You think I’m just used to having a long draw and have to break that habit?

I’m far from an expert, but your wrist looks low to me. I’ve resolved some torque issues by straightening it out a bit, taking pressure off the heel of your palm. I was a chronic low wrist- high shoulder shooter, took a while to work that out of my form.

I wish I could give you an objective opinion, but I can’t get past the Crocs.

I’m kidding, but as others have said - you’re leaning back.

Did you or a shop tie in the peep while you were leaning that far back?

Ha dang don’t hate on the crocs. I bought the bow with the peep installed. But I’ve adjusted to myself.

First, just try to get yourself standing up straighter by getting your hips under you and getting 60% of your weight on your front leg.

You can use your phone to get some video of yourself to see how you’re leaning back through your shot.

When you’re consistently standing up straighter, you can adjust your peep.

However, if I were you and you have a good shop close, I’d have them assist and I’d look into a session with a good coach because you’re probably not too far off from being where you need to be. But, by the same token - if you keep trying to get your technique and bow set up by yourself, you could work yourself into some bad habits and or never be able to progress because set up prevents you from improving.

Hips and shoulders out of line like others of mentioned and elbow is hyper extended. A lot of people shoot with the hyper extended elbow, even pros, but probably not a good way to start and not good for injury long term. How many pounds you trying to pull. Try to replicate this, I think my form is pretty good haha we will see what others have to say….

I’m glad that you have an arrow nocked so that you’re not at risk of dry firing your bow, but I’m just curious as to what you have inside your living room or kitchen that you are aiming at?

26” looks to better than 27”.
