I've had a Wiggys (Glacier Hunter?) bag for around 5 yrs now. Reputation in wet weather (my part of Alaska is almost NEVER dry when I am hunting) and for durability, & cost. I probably only have about 150 nights on it but I haven't been disappointed yet.

I prefer down for backpacking, but have used synthetic bags in the past where I expected continuous moisture.

Down for sleeping bags most of the time and synthetic for my puffy gear, most of the time. But I have down and synthetic of both sleeping bags and puffy gear, just depends on what I'm doing and where I am going.
