Dog boots

Depending on how much you would you them, if constantly needing boots the store bought 50$ won’t last a week, I know a guy that carries a chunk of bycycle tube and monkey tape good to go.... last a lot longer than any boots he’s tried and he’s been chasin chukar for a long time . And if your dog happens to throw a shoe, 2 min an your off to the next point not out anything ,

My cousin had bought some for his lab a few years back, not sure the brand but they were not cheap, never would stay on. bicycle tube idea sounds promising.

Here when we are fighting sand spurs I use motorcycle intertubes and pre wrap held on with duct tape. They are cheap and work well. I have a bunch of hounds and I usually run at least a brace so im too cheap to buy the lewis boots. The motor cycle tubes wear out pretty quick but you can toss them and cut a new one in a minute. I don't know if they would be durable enough for very rocky chukar conditions.
