Does your state offer a lifetime hunting license? Did you buy one for your child?

The lifetime license in NC includes everything but a federal duck stamp. But we don't really have a tag system like other states. We do have a few draws for specific hunts.

Same with MS. No tags, but the license covers anything you can hunt or fish, minus federal duck stamp.

$125 ... Take care of that tomorrow and don't look back.

I bought my NY lifetime "sportsman" license decades ago and it has paid for itself many times over. This in spite of not hunting or fishing for quite a while in the late 80's to early 90's. Life, wife and employment got in the way. Got rid of 2 of the 3.

Just looked to see what the Lifetime License I have would cost if purchased today. $1630. A buck and a quarter is a heck of a deal.

I would not think twice. Arizona is much higher. And I still plan on getting my children taken care of.

NC does. I got one for each of my two kids before they turned a year old.

Idaho does...about $800 for a combination hunting/fishing license for kids under 2 years old. Probably too steep for most people, but it's a pretty good deal especially if the kid eventually moves out of state.
