Impossible... From my experience, Mule deer - end of December to mid January. Coues Whitetail deer last 3 weeks of January. Earlier for both the farther north you go. Ed F

I can tell you that where we hunt, we typically start seeing rut activity right around Christmas, peaking mid January,and it usually starts slowing at the end of January . It is definitely not like clockwork though

If you had the time on a OTC hunt in AZ you could follow the rut. Start on the south rim of the Grand Canyon and end at Mexico. That would give you 5 solid weeks of rutting bucks.
